Larry has taken a turn for the worse. He is now non-responsive, except to pain and loud noises. He seems to be semi-comfortable. We are taking every measure to make it so.
Nate got off on his flight this morning at 7:00 am. He arrived safely. A family from his mission that takes good care of missionaries emailed me tonight and told me that she saw him at a stake function tonight. I was happy to know he made it safely and is back in the swing of things.
We are so very very grateful to you all. You make us feel so loved and make things better.

  1. Sounds like he is getting close. I think about you and hope you are feeling comfort from everyone around you. I was telling Murray that "Larry and Leesa are like salt and pepper". You two go together. You two have been my heroes. I have never heard you or Larry say one bad thing about the other one. I try to treat Murray how you treat Larry. I love you

  2. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Larry is such an amazing guy and his spirit has touched everyone he has met. I haven't seen him in years but I will always remember his kindness and compassion towards everyone.

  3. Leesa, having you as a dear friend and a stitching sister is one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. I feel the same way about Larry - and even though I know that our Heavenly Father wants me in the East (for now anyway) my heart is there with you all. I love you both, Becky

  4. I'm checking in from Brooklyn. The time is drawing near. Leesa, thank you so much for sharing this private and special time with all of us. I feel very connected to the family and it does my heart good to know what a supportive, loving family and network of friends you have to help you through this. Larry's good soul, kind manner, infectious laugh and the greatest smile in the world will always be with me. Love to all.

  5. Leesa, I know that when it is time for Larry to go home, that the door to the Heavenly Kingdom will open, and he will be greated with open arms. I know that all persons on this earth love Larry as much as the Lord does. He is a great man, friend and Bishop.
